BCAN’s Think Tank facilitates discussions that help define priorities for advancing bladder cancer research, including all aspects of the patient and caregiver journey from diagnosis to treatment to survivorship. Think Tank attendees include leading urologists, oncologists, researchers, pathologists, social scientists, patient advocates, and industry representatives, all of whom are dedicated to improving the diagnosis and treatment of bladder cancer.
Think Tank provides a place for bright minds in bladder cancer to collaborate and advance innovative bladder cancer research. It fosters and enables new collaborations, projects, and grant submissions, and also provides a venue to share progress on existing projects, and a place to connect colleagues, furthering a collaborative spirit.
2019’s program includes sessions focused on a diverse set of themes including:
- actualizing microbiome studies,
- genomic insights and biomarkers for treatment selection,
- immunotherapy,
- survivorship,
- regulatory science,
- patient-centered outcomes,
- genomic insights,
- computational biology and more.
