Overactive bladder (OAB) is a distressing problem that affects many women in the UK.
Symptoms of OAB include urinary urgency with or without urgency incontinence, usually with frequency and nocturia. This article discusses the assessment of women reporting lower urinary tract symptoms, including simple tests to be performed and specialist investigations that may be required before a diagnosis of OAB can be confirmed.
