Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms in Patients with Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser Syndrome After Neo-Vagina Creation by Davydov's Procedure - Beyond the Abstract

The study covers briefly common procedures for the creation of a neovagina, procedures that are associated with an influx of lower urinary track symptoms. Our study is the first to specifically address this effect following Davydov's procedure which according to many experts is the best technique to be used in most cases of vaginal agenesis being safe, tolerated, effective and minimally invasive.



All operations where performed at San Raffaele Hospital Milan, Italy which serves as a referral center and has a weekly dedicated ambulatory service for the diagnosis and treatment of female genital tract malformations.

All operations are performed by the same highly experienced surgeons, one for each step of the surgery, laparoscopic and perineal.
