Improving the Genetic Signature of Prostate Cancer, the Somatic Mutations

A deep review of the most updated genetic biomarkers and methodologies for their analysis have been included in this review. It is focused on the impact that new molecular strategies will have on clinical practices and the thanks to the high accuracy of present technologies, we are able to obtain much valuable information without invasive strategies for patients. We are nearer to precision medicine by the combination of genomic and molecular biomarkers with the traditional tools, could improve the diagnosis, prognosis and the choice of the most appropriate treatment for each patient, helpful in the clinical decision-making.
