The Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APCCC) 2021 Virtual Program

While existing guidelines can summarize the existing evidence and form treatment recommendations, there are many areas in the management of patients with advanced prostate cancer where:
  • There is no available evidence from large prospective randomized trials
  • The evidence is sparse or only low-level
  • The existing evidence is conflicting or the interpretation of the evidence is conflicting

To address these areas and to drive international consensus on key areas of prostate cancer practice where there is no clear guidelines or level 1 evidence the Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APCCC) prepares a large number of consensus questions that are presented on and then voted on by a large number of international prostate cancer expert panelists at the end of the conference.

Given the global healthcare landscape as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's APCCC meeting has taken a focused virtual format:
