GU Cancers Symposium 2012 - Novel Mechanisms and Therapies in Multidisciplinary Management - Program Announcement

SAN FRANCISCO, CA USA (UroToday.com) - Join us for the 2012 Genitourinary Cancers Symposium

The 2012 Genitourinary Cancers Symposium on February 2-4 is your best opportunity to learn about cutting- edge clinical and scientific strategies in screening, evaluation, and management of genitourinary (GU) cancers— all in an interactive, intellectually engaging environment designed to help attendees better understand how integrated cancer care can best be used to treat patients.

This multidisciplinary Symposium offers educational sessions and abstract presentations focused on each disease site, including penile, urethral, and testicular cancer; prostate cancer; renal cell cancer; and urothelial carcinoma. The discussion-based format of the Symposium is intended to foster dialogue among medical oncologists, urologists, pathologists, radiologists, and other members of the cancer care community, including translational scientists. The educational sessions will feature invited presentations, including several on personalized cancer care.

Additionally, early-career oncologists will find sessions designed specifically for them, including the Fellows, Residents, and Junior Faculty Networking Luncheon and the Poster Walks*. These are excellent opportunities to engage in small-group or one-on-one discussions with top faculty on a variety of career- and science-related topics.

Plan to join us in San Francisco as we discuss and connect the latest science in screening, diagnosis, multidisciplinary treatment, and translational research on GU cancers.
