Very late prostate cancer local recurrence 23 years after radical prostatectomy

Recurrence after radical prostatectomy occurs most frequently during the first 5 years after surgery.

Later recurrences have, however, been described. This report describes a case with local recurrence 23 years after radical prostatectomy.
