Local staging of prostate cancer with MRI - Abstract

Accurate local staging of prostate cancer is essential for patient management decisions.

Conventional and evolving magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques, such as diffusion-weighted imaging, dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI, and MR spectroscopy, are promising techniques in prostate cancer imaging. In this article, we will review the current applications of conventional and advanced MRI techniques in the local staging of prostate cancer.
