Disparities in prostate cancer in African American men: What primary care physicians can do - Abstract

African American men have a higher incidence of prostate cancer than white men, and also a higher rate of death due to prostate cancer.

Although both biologic and socioeconomic factors may be to blame, better screening in this population may help to close the gap.
