Prostate cancer (PC) is a radiosensitive tumor, and external beam radiotherapy (EBRT) has gained its place in the treatment of PC.
The aim of this review is to provide the physician involved in the treatment of PC an overview of the current indications of EBRT, to focus on some recent developments in EBRT, and to highlight promising new indications for EBRT.
