MELVILLE, NY USA (Press Release) - June 8, 2015 - Dr. Ann E. Anderson, Director of Pathology at Integrated Medical Professionals, PLLC, the largest multi-specialty group practice in the United States, was recently appointed Member, NYS Delegation to The College of American Pathologists (CAP) House of Delegates (HOD) Committee for four years. She will be one of 24 delegates representing New York State.

As a delegate, she will act as the voice of patient care and other practice concerns brought by pathologists in NYS to the attention of the CAP board of governors. Dr. Anderson will also work with other NYS delegates to ensure satisfactory resolution of these concerns. Networking with local pathologists to facilitate and empower them to be effective advocates for patients will be another facet of this appointment.
In her role as Member, NYS Delegation CAP-HOD, Dr. Anderson will be attending and participating in the CAP-HOD meetings, in addition to the New York State Society of Pathologists (NYSSPath) annual meeting. She will have the opportunity to volunteer to serve on any CAP-HOD or NYSSPath workgroup or committee that is of interest to her based upon her expertise.
