Tubulocystic carcinoma of kidney: A challenging diagnostic entity mimicking multicystic kidney and presenting with bone metastasis - Abstract

A 70-year-old man presented with left-sided flank pain and weight loss of two-month duration.

Clinical workup revealed a palpable mass, increased creatinine (165 μmol/L) and trace of blood on urinalysis. Imaging showed a large (18.0cm) multicystic mass replacing left kidney and a T12 vertebral body lytic lesion. Patient underwent an open radical nephrectomy.
