This article aims to provide the reader with an overview of penile cancer.
The focus is on clinical and medical aspects to help nurses understand incidence, aetiology, diagnosis and treatment, to enable them educate and support patients affected by this disease. Psychological support of patients and their partners is also emphasised as the effects of penile cancer can be significant.
